Stephanie made a tally chart and a frequency chart of the the number of males and females who said yes or no to the question “Do you have allergies?” She made bar chart showing the numbers for each answer, a pie chart showing the percentages, and a line graph. She felt that the circle graph showed the answer to her question the best. The line graph did not represent the data very well because there were only two dots for each line. She concluded: “In my class, males have more allergies, 45% of males have allergies compared to 14% of females, even though there are more females in the class.”
